You wanted to be a minister, we’re not a kid – Reno Omocri hung El -Rufai – Sun Nigeria

Former President Reno Omokre’s assistant said Malam Nasir El-Rufai’s claim was not interested in serving President Bola’s office Tinubu was incorrect.

Omokri, who was an assistant to the social media of former President Gudluk Jonathan, said this in a Facebook publication on Thursday in an obvious response to a verbal dispute between El-Rufai and assistant media assistant Daniel Bwala.

Turning to Bwala on X on Thursday, El-Rufai said: “I was a cabinet minister 22 years ago and was aware of Azivaju that I was not interested in any position in his future government. The pathetic way you all transform into the Tinubu government is creating a problem with something that I have never wanted in the first place is perhaps a reflection on the level of your moral flexibility. ”

On August 7, 2023, the Senate confirmed 45 of the President Bola Tinubu’s 48 ministerial candidates, refusing El-Rufai’s confirmation and two others, citing security reports from the Ministry of State Services (DSS).

However, there were reports that El-Rufai, who was in London when the Senate took his position, turned to President Tinubu on August 9, 2023 to withdraw his interest in the ministerial nomination.

It has been said that El-Rufai has informed Tinu that he is not interested in becoming a minister, but will continue to contribute to his quota for the development of Nigeria as a private citizen.

Responding, Omokri noted that the former governor of Kaduna would not have introduced himself to check the ministry if he really did not want to become a minister.

He said: “This Nasir El-Rufai thinks we are all children. You claim that you are not interested in being a minister, but you have nevertheless obeyed to check the ministry.

“It’s like saying you are not interested in free food, but you still visited my house with a spoon in your pocket. The short man should not leave us short of words! ”
