Recently, Wyoming Valley West High School recently identified its Spartan elderly people of the month for October, recognizing exceptional senior class members. The Spartan Adults program honors students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, along with a strong commitment to the school spirit, dedication and character. These prominent students consistently show what it means to be a real Spartan by participating in a wide range of sports, clubs and activities, while maintaining high academic standards. Their contribution to both the classroom and the school community separates them as sample role models. The October elderly of the month are Tyler Rudy, Madison Orson, Emma Moses and Lola Voychihovsky.
