Boulder, Colorada (January 30, 2025) – The University of Wyoming University for tracking is heading for Boulder, Colorado, and Albukerke, NM, for the first time this season, for the Colorado Invitation and New Mexico team, open on Friday and Saturday. Friday in Colorado will start at noon with field events and Saturday at 11 o’clock for events. In New Mexico, field events start at 3:30 pm on Friday and have events at 15:00 on Saturday.

The last time outside
Last week, Bobcat Challenge, two cowboys, senior throwing Daniel Reynolds and a junior runner at Jacob White, broke the program records. Reynolds extended its weight throwing school and Mountain West’s record with a 77 ‘8.75 toss (23.69 meters), mark # 6 in the nation this season. White now holds the program record at 3000 meters with a time of 7: 54.38. This is White’s third school record at Cross Country and Track and Field.
Senior Gus McTyar also made his way up the top 10 list of 3000 meters, landing at # 3 with a time of 8: 00.98. In women, 3000 meters of senior Kylie Simshauser moved to # 2 in the history of the program, a time of 9: 22.75 in Bobcat Challenge.
In the running of Mile Senior Mack Strostrow and a sophomore Jake Bach came across the list of top 10. Zastrow now holds # 3 with a time of 4: 02.24 while Bach enters No. 6 with a time of 4: 05.13.
Junior sprinter Carter McComb has made the top 10 -meter list of 60 meters over 6.83, good for No. 10.
At 400 meters, the freshman Bradley Extrom runs to the final and entered the list of the Top-10 program at No. 8 over time 48.42. Extrom also got its name in the book for records with the help of a sophomore Cody Hape, Senior Jaheim Ferguson and freshman Logan Brown in the 4×400 meter relay. Their time of 3: 15.54 was good for No. 8 in the indoor school history.
Overall, Wyoming set of 18 personal records and won 24 graduations on the podium, including seven first, at Bobcat Challenge at Bozman, Mont.
