Wyndham Clark shoots 7 -on 64 to take the early Phoenix Open Lead – Fraser Valley Today

Clark was one of the players who filled him on a day of a perfect year after the rain turned the TPC Scottsdale into a wet, wild mess.

Clark went to a great beginning, opening with a bird before rolling at four straight, starting from about 4 of the eighth. The US Open 2023 champion with two Puts for another bird of the 13th Par-5 and struck his third shot to join the PAR-5 15th range to reach 7 floor.

Clark was obviously disappointed after pulling his shot at the Tee, left in the water at the reached Par-4 17th, but struck a magnificent shot on the pitch to save par before closing with an easy norm at 18.

“Needless to say, this is a bird hole and hitting it in the water and in fact not having a bird appearance is a pity,” Clark said. “But to get away with a nominal was great – it was huge.”

Schaeffler never seems to stay down for a long time and starts one of the strongest roars of the first round when he fired a shotgun on a 104-yards of Eagle’s 104 yards to No. 10.

The two-time Phoenix Open champion made a double blow to the 12th Par-3 after hitting his triple in water down for a bird to the right of Par-4 17th and just missed another 18.
