Parkersburg, W.VA. (WTAP) – Western Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisi has issued a state of readiness for all 55 counties in the state.
The declaration began on the night of February 5 and will continue until Friday, February 7th.

This question came after the National Meteorological Service warned the flow levels and the expected rains could cause localized flood and ice problems in the northern part of the state.
Another storm is expected to arrive this weekend with heavy rain, snow and some ice – with heavy snowfall in different areas throughout the country.
Governor Morrisi and the Emergency Management Department in Western Virginia (WveMD) ask all Western Virginians to remain attentive to weather conditions through local media communications and follow all the instructions issued by emergency officers.
