The original Kop Standing terrace was abandoned in 2007 and was not used until its destruction in January 2023.

The revised designs for the new KOP booth with a capacity of 5500 are presented on the advice of Wrexham County.

The new KOP booth will include safe standing, hospitality and affordable seating areas and can support an increase in capacity, subject to a separate planning application.

Reynolds and McLuhni, who bought the North Wales club in February 2021 and control the backward promotions, said nine months ago that the capacity of the stadium could be increased to between 45,000 and 55,000.
