An animal control shelter in Betani: Closed for adoption due to the clinic of veterinarians closure. The hours are from 8am to 4pm from Monday to Friday, from 10am to 2pm, the first Saturday of the month, 5100 N College, 405-789-3431.

Center for Human Society in Central Oklahoma: 11:00 to 19:00 Tuesday until Saturday, lunch until 17:00 Sunday, 7500 N Western Ave., 405-286-1229.

El Renault Animal Shelter: Closed for animals, but open to adoption from 8am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday, 2400 Spur Lane, 405-262-2121.

Edmond animal welfare shelter: The adoption of pets is appointed only at normal hours from 10 o’clock to noon and from 1 pm to 5 pm Tuesday until Friday and lunch until 16:30 Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday. 2424 Old Timbers Drive, 405-216-7615.

Animal shelter in Moore: Closed for animals, but open to adoption from 9am to 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 1 to 4 pm Wednesday; 8 am until noon on Saturday and closed on Sunday, 4000 S Interstate 35 Service Road, 405-793-5190.

Mustang Animal shelter: Closed due to illness. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 16:00 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 8:30 until noon Wednesday; 9:30 until noon Friday and closed on weekends, 520 SW 59, 405-256-6207.

Oklahoma City Human Attitude to Animals: Open to the adoption of cats and some dogs at noon until 5:00 pm from Tuesday to Saturday. Until the overcrowding is controlled, adoption fees are canceled for all dogs, regardless of their size. Call to ask about the adoption available from 9am to 5pm seven days a week on 2811 SE 29.
