Bensenville, Glendale Heaths, was arrested in an incident at a Benseville-based home-based community, which led to the burning of an older woman, authorities said on Wednesday.
The 58 -year -old Darnie Connor has admitted that she is not guilty of crime charges, according to a message from the office of Prosecutor General Quaam Raul.
The office claims that Connor was a caregiver at the home of the Ray Graham Association in Benseville in June, when she failed to test the water temperature before putting a resident in a hot shower.
According to the office, hot water caused second-degree burns most of the lower part of the woman.
Connor is accused of trying to cover up the incident by not notifying the staff and medical staff of the severity of injuries.
Residents of Ray Graham Homes may have disabilities or health needs that require 24-hour support from trained staff.
Connor was accused of three for abuse of a long -term treatment resident, two for neglecting a resident of a long -term aid facility and one number of reckless behavior.
The DuPage County Sheriff’s service helped to investigate.
