Milwaukee – A winter consultant for Southeast Wisconsin had dropped out early on Thursday morning, February 6th. However, wind stocks remain in force from 9:00 to 9pm Thursday for Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Washington, Ozaukee and Dodge.

What we know:
FOX6 weather experts say the sun is returning for Thursday afternoon, with temperatures warming up to the upper 30s. But the more seasonal air returns to Friday and Saturday.
Substantial snow is expected for Saturday with several inches in some areas. Keep an eye on updates.
It is expected to freeze freezing with a slight icing of ice accumulation. There may be several snow showers that can be mixed at times with minimal accumulation.
NWS said they were planning slippery road conditions and slowing down and being careful while traveling.

More snow is on Saturday’s forecast. Although there is still time to shift north or south, there is a potential for this storm to be one of the highest snowfall of the season.
