Wilmington Friends School Clips Archmere Academy in Boys basketball Battle: Photo Gallery – Dialogue

Admission -Archmere made a fierce return against Wilmington Friends when the teams met at boys’ basketball on February 3, but the Quakers did enough to prevail in the 41-38 decision in Moglia Fieldhouse.

The first half ended with friends leading 18-15, as both teams showed difficult defense and deliberate crimes. Noah Blazington on Archmer (St. Mary Mary Magdalen) tied the game at the beginning of the third with a three-point shot, but the quakes continued 10-0 later in a quarter to take a 31-21 lead. Much of the damage was caused by Ryan Tatell. The Quakers striker broke 21-21 draws with two free throws and he added a mid-range jumper and another free throw during running. Ryan Hagenberg (St. Thomas Apostolic parish, Glenn Mills, Pennsylvania) clicked the series with the end points of the third.

The teams went more than two minutes in the fourth quarter, before Riley Schultz (St. John Neumann’s parish, Bryn Maur, Pennsylvania), was at the receiving end of a long arrangement pass that brought Aux within five, but Joey Winchell – He plays in his first Quakers game after sitting for a few with a injury – he answered, hitting three.

Auks’ received these points back to three from John Orsini (the parish of the Apostle Saint Thomas, Glen Mills, State), who was overshadowed by Ethan Lukach Quakers in the first half. Blesington then scored 3:32 to pass, reducing the quakers lead to three.

Archmere cut the lead to 38-36 into a 1:30 blessing triven, but that was as close as they would get. Friends received two free throws from Bryce Jackson to extend the lead to four by 21.6 seconds, and after Archmer returned, Lukach made a free throw with a few seconds, but the potential attempt at AUKS three -point attempts with tricks with Three points were blocked by Tattersall while the Zumer sounded.

The final statistics were not available late on Monday night. Wilmington’s friends improved to 10-5 and hosted Wilmington Christian on Tuesday at 16:30, while Auks (9-4) welcomed Conrad on Thursday at 6:15 pm.
