William Bill Everette Lauk, 77, from Kansas City, KS, died on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in the gardens of Delmar from Overland Park, CS, from complications due to diabetes.
He was born on November 23, 1947 in Excelsior Springs, son of Evertt and Doris (Shawcross) Lauck. He was married to Carol Case Lauck on March 31, 1972. Three children of this union: Chad Everette Lauk (died shortly after birth), Heather Ann (Lauk) Paterson and Stephen William Laoo. They later divorced.
He was married to Marcia Blade Stevenson Lauk on March 27, 2004.
He was preceded by death by his parents and his infant son.
The survivors include: his wife Marcia from the home; daughter, Heather Patterson of Kansas City, Mo; Son, Stephen (Ashlin) Springfield Lauk, Mo; Brother, Jack (Fay) Lauk from Richmond, Mo; Four grandchildren: Kailee Rae Lauck from Cassville, Mo, Shaylan McKinna Lauck from Clever, Mo, Addison Sterling by Springfield, Mo and Avery Marie Lauk by Springfield, Mo; Four brought children: Taylor (Jennifer) Davis, III, from Wilsonville, Or, Trisha (John) Davis Eddie from Topeka, KS, Mitchell Stevenson of Topeka, KS and Mark (Cassandra) Stevenson Topeka, Ks; Four brought grandchildren: Caleb Eddie from Fort Collins, Colorado, Hayden Eddie from Topeka, KS, Austin Stevenson of Topeka, KS and Charlotte Stevenson of Topeka, KS; Two brothers, Randal (Janet) Blade of Homer, Al and Ronald (Yana) Blad from Belville, KS.
Bill attended the schools in Richmond and graduated from Richmond High School in 1965. Bill had a gift to Gab and loved a good joke and always had a great story to tell. He was smart, funny and hardworking. He loved cars and spent the bigger part of his work life, buying cars, selling cars and car parts, delivering cars, car parts and car titles. Bill had many friends who knew him as a great friend, kind and good. First of all, he loved his family, his children and his granddaughters. He was the hero of his children. Bill will be remembered by his kindness and good heart.
The family proposes to make memorial contributions for the choice of donor, the Baptist church Fleming, a tunnel to the towers or the Samaritan bag. They can be left on or sent by post to the funeral home of Thurman, 507 East Main Street-Po Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
A visit to funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the funeral home of Thurman in Richmond, with the visit begins at 12:00 with services that will follow at 1:00 pm.
