A Prairie Reboot comes to Netflix. The streamer announced on Wednesday, January 29, that there is Greenlit “rethinking” of the favorite show of the 70s, which is based on the bestsellers of books of books from Laura Ingles WilderS Add to nostalgia: Travel friendlythe son of the original producer Ed friendlyis among the producers of the show.
“My mine has been a long -held dream to continue my father’s inheritance and adapt Wilder’s classic 21st Century Stories in a way that brings together both books and the original television series,” says the friendly in a statement (through Deadline). “I am excited about our talented creative team led by [showrunner] Rebecca Sonnshine which carry these favorite stories about the family, the community and the survival of long -time fans and new generations. “

What is Prairie Reboot around?
Restarting is said to be a “rethink” of the original show, based on the free series of Laura Ingles Wilder, a fictional retelling of her childhood in the American Midwest in the late 19th century. Like the books, the series followed the Ingles family, including daughter Laura, her parents Charles (“Pa”) and Caroline (“Ma”), and her siblings, Mary, Carrie and later, Grace.
It is not clear how true the restart of its starting material will be, but it will probably be a western kit in the 1890s.
