The Kansas City Chiefs prepare to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium, with the arrival of Tampa Bay minus key offensive weapons.

The Buccaneers will be without wide receivers Mike Evanswho is suspended for at least this game, and Chris Godwinwho is out for the season. That absence is significant, as Evans and Godwin combined for 76 receptions, 911 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.

Despite the loss of its main objectives, Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield kept the offense moving, throwing for 330 yards on 50 carries in last week’s game against Atlanta. Known for his fearless approach, Mayfield has been relentless, helping Tampa Bay hold a high-scoring offense to at least 30 points in five of their seven games this season.

To make up for a depleted receiving corps, the Buccaneers leaned on running backs Rashad WhiteKansas City native, and rookie standout Bucky Irving, along with tight end Cade Otten. Otten saw his targets increase last week, recording 10 catches and two touchdowns.

When it comes to the key players who may be out for the game against the Super Bowl champions, Bucky’s name is at the top of the list.

Irving is currently listed as questionable on this week’s injury report due to a toe injury.

The Buccaneers have no other running backs on the injured list. Irving leads the team with 395 yards on 76 carries, averaging 49.4 yards per game. He scored three rushing touchdowns.
