(Study) – In an emergency, access to blood can make the difference between life and death.

For patients who lose too much blood, their risk of dying increases every minute, they do not receive transfusion.

In most cases, transfusion is not performed until patients are in the hospital.

However, numerous medical studies show that giving full blood before the arrival of patients in the emergency room improves their chances.

However, not many ambulances carry blood.

Reporter Christine Crowley is considering the use of transmission blood and barriers that do not allow more EMS agencies to use it.
