Why Barn Hill Reserve rebrands as Magnolia Wilds – 225 Baton Rouge

Barn Hill Reserve, a wildlife reserve in the parish of Eastern Feliciana, rebrands as magnolia wild.

Established in 2012, the facility is known mainly for offering visitors the opportunity to approach personally with different animals through a guide service.

Director Hunter Hall tells Daily report that the rebel aims to reflect on how much the business has grown in recent years. Most importantly, in 2020, a 32-Decare Tsiplin Park was presented called Magnolia Ridge, and at the end of last year, an 11-Dear Safari Park was introduced.

“We felt that we needed a rebrand to present better what we are as a facility and the size of the growth we have seen, especially in the last few years,” Hall says.

According to Hull, Magnolia Wilds also works to become more affordable than Barn Hill’s reserve was historic.

The animal meeting tours of the facility – which are now rebranded as Wild Discovery tours – currently costing about $ 50 per person. Hull says the goal is to lower this price to about $ 20 per person as part of the effort to make the facility more accessible to everyone.

John Ligon remains the only owner of the facility.
