With all the countless hours you spend in the library, doing homework and endless all the people who study for exams, caffeine is a must. Fortunately, Talahasi has dozens of local cafes to enjoy caffeine lovers.
Many of them are just a few steps from the campus or short drive. With so many choices, it can be difficult to decide who to visit between the hours or where to go when you crave freshly boiled coffee.
To help you taste the coffee scene here in Talahassi, I have compiled a list of popular cafes in the area that are mandatory based on your main one. Whether you want to try a new cafe to get acquainted with the Talahassi area or need a pickup before class, all these places offer delicious coffee and sweet treats. Who knows, maybe you have just found your new favorite place to research!
Biology and chemistry
With all the hours of biology and chemistry, which are often spent in the library, caffeine is a very necessary energy amplifier. Fortunately, several Starbucks places are conveniently located around the campus, including the Dirac and Strozier libraries. This makes it easier to take your drinks during your late night training.
There are also places in the Student Union and 1851 where they specialize in the mobile order. It is likely that you will go one on the road to a class, which makes it an easy pickup.
Business
Sweet Shop is probably one of the most emblematic cafes on the FSU campus since it has been working since 1921. Calvin’s is super comfortable for those at the College of Music to get a quick choice between classes. This cozy store is located in Ukirk Tallahassee and is less than a two-minute walk from the College of Music. There are tons of tables and seats to do some work before or after class.
Not only does Calvin serve fantastic coffee and treats, but it also offers open microphone dinners. You can register to sing, play an instrument, read poetry, or make a stand -up comedy by filling out the form in their social media.
Communications and marketing
Do you want to get perfect coffee for your Instagram story? Frother’s daughter is the perfect place for communication and marketing specialties to practice their skills on social media. Frother’s daughter is a mobile cafe trailer that includes all your classic favorite and special drinks that change monthly.
The trailer is usually parked along Avenue Park during the week, but they often take care of special events. Recently, they also opened a place for bricks and mortar along the way of Thomasville. You can check their Instagram page where they publish where their trailer will be every day this week and the drinks presented for this month.
