The Basketball Season of College 2024-25 moves like Western Virginia mountaineers Have only nine matches in the regular season.
Currently, the Darian Devris team has a record of 14-8 (5-6), which means that they have some job if they want to secure a place in the NCAA tournament. How will the season end? Below we go through each other game and list the percentage chance of ESPN BPI’s coincidence to give WVU to win, along with my thoughts for every match.
In order for mountaineers to keep their NCAA hopes alive, it starts with care of business at home. Earn your home games and play .500 on the road and you will do well. Utes are 1-4 on the road in Big 12 Play. This is a mandatory profit for Western Virginia.
After a rather slow start to the Big 12 Action, Cougars really turned things around, winning five of their last seven. This is a pretty even match, so the 50/50 projection here by BPI makes a lot of sense. There is nothing to argue here.
Bears are a difficult group to understand. When playing to the level they are capable of, they are difficult to win. Unfortunately, since this game is on the way, the mountaineers will need a miracle to get out of this one. The shocked percentage is no less than 10%.
Western Virginia did an easy job of Bearcats in Cincinnati, and although I expect a much better game this time around, this is what the mountaineers need to win. As much as Slessi fights, I am curious why it is not higher.
Texas Tech is one of the best teams in basketball at college that no one talks about. They may stumble into this game, but it’s unlikely.
Pay? Pay! I totally agree here with BPI that the West Virginia will split the season with the frogs. Plus, TCU is 1-11 of all time in the Colosseum, with their only victory coming last year against one of the worst teams WVU had.
I understand why the percentage is low here, but I could see that this is a game that West Virginia wins if they play their best ball.
WVU ends his two -stage Utah with a trip to Salt Lake City. Home teams get a lot of love in computer projections, but I’m not so sure it should be here. I really like WVU’s chances to sweep Utos.
Completing the season at home against UCF in what should be a very profitable game for mountaineers. The knights have lost five of their last six and could move around .500 by the time it is played.
