What class does the season of Marvin Harrison -Jr. – Sports Illustrated

Arizona Cardinals welcomed an astonishing 12 recruits in their NFL class in 2024. Until all of them had an instant impact on the team, the wide receiver of Marvin Harrison, Jr., received immediate initial work.

In the future, we will appreciate the season of each rookie, starting with the fourth total selection of Ohio.

Degree: B

Many were dissatisfied with the level of production by the young successor. It is understandable when Harrison managed to get only 885 yards and generally looked without sync with the defender Kiler Murray.

But the truth is that Harrison had a solid season of a rookie. If he was not expected to enter as an instant X receiver, with his father’s legacy preceding him, nearly 900 yards and eight touchdowns in a rookie season would be very different.

However, he succeeded 14.3 yards of catch and exposed a pair of performances to 100 yards. It was not perfect and it has to be a lot to improve, but to claim to be a bad season as a whole is false.

As I have already written, Harrison is about to become an excellent receiver and could easily meet the expectations set on it.

We also awarded our 2024 Cardinals at the Si Rookie of the Year Award. Although he may not have been an attracting gaze of a rookie, with many teases along the way, he still threatens the air.

But it just wasn’t enough to gather Harrison’s season assessment too high. For a wide rookie he was solid, if not too far above average.

Other factors were also in the game, with some inconsistent defender play, a bad overall passing attack, the dominance of Te Trey McBride, and the offensive scheme, which did not seem too invested in achieving the goals of a rookie receiver.

All these things can be removed. Harrison is an exceptional talent and showed the flashes of the X receiver, which can be.

He will have to increase his chemistry with Murray, and the cardinals would be good to use Harrison in a more focused role, along with deeper routes to intersect and more diverse route trees.

Too often, the only ones throws to Harrison were a low -rate jump balls or open fields or return routes.

Its ceiling is quite high, and the Cardinals crime needs a sharp need for high production than passed, which are not called Trey McBride.

However, there was a lot of left on the pitch in 2024 and for this reason the year of Harrison’s rookie received B.
