Kim Mulkey and LSU women’s basketball found success after losses during her short four-year stint in Baton Rouge.

The No. 4 Tigers suffered their first loss of the season on the road at No. 2 South Carolina, 66-56, Friday night and will look to bounce back against Texas A&M at the Peter Maravich Assembly Center on Sunday afternoon.

Over the last four seasons, LSU (20-1, 5-1 SEC) is 10-3 after a loss, losing just three straight games under Mulkey.

The Aggies (10-8, 3-3) will try to hand the Tigers a second straight loss. Aisha Coulibaly will lead A&M in Baton Rouge as she averages 12.9 points per game for Johnny Taylor’s squad.
