Western Virginia resident convicted of a role in the drug trafficking operation – Wajr

Clarksburg, W.VA. – A resident of West Virginia has been convicted of his role in a drug trafficking conspiracy operating in the northern part of the state.

Joshua Noel, 42 years old from Elkins, West Virginia, was sentenced to 78 months in the federal prison for possession with the intention of distributing methamphetamine.

Noel was found guilty of his role in an organization for drug trafficking operating in Monongal County, West Virginia, which has distributed large quantities of controlled substances for more than six years.

The Outside Philadelphia Drugs Organization, Pennsylvania, transports 5 to 10 kilograms of methamphetamine to Morgantown
a trip.

Noel will serve 3 years of supervisory release after his sentence in prison. The special drug group Mon Metro was part of the investigation.
