Westbound I-470 shut down for crash in Topeka – AOL

TOPEKA (KSNT) – First responders are headed to a crash on I-470 Friday afternoon in Topeka.

Shawnee County Emergency Dispatch told 27 News crews are at the scene of a crash in southwest Topeka. According to county officials, crews were called just before 1:30 p.m. to Southeast Gage Boulevard and I-470 for reports of a crash.

Kandrive.gov shows that in the westbound lane of I-470, traffic speeds are significantly reduced in the area of ​​the crash. Traffic cameras in the area showed vehicles backing up, a fire truck on scene, multiple Topeka Police Department vehicles and at least one ambulance.
