Logan County, W.VA. (WSAZ) – After heavy rains have passed through the southern part of our region, many people still work to clean the mountains of debris that have accumulated.
At 8 o’clock on Monday morning, 21 members of the National Guard bombarded their boots and were located in Logan County to help remove flood debris for at least 160 families and business.
“This is probably one of the things I think they are enjoying to do the most to help colleagues from the Western Virginians,” said Joint Operations Director with the National Guard Todd.
Justice says that the help of the Counts was not a fierce for the country it loves.
“I think our Guards understand that, well, unfortunately it will turn out to the depot,” justice said. “It was a rewarding process of the people previous.”
In order to help security, employees of extraordinary management of Logan’s extraordinary management warn people to stay 50 feet back from the removal of vehicles in order to be prepared for insignificant disadvantages of the movement and to have only floods.
“The guard is the kind of one -stop -stop -you -and -they take care of everything for you,” said Logan Roger Bryant County County Director of Emergency Situations. “I just can’t say how grateful we are to have security.”
Bryant says the National Guard is vital to the cleaning process and loves cooperation between them. Members of the National Guard will not enter private property to remove flooding debris, nor will they enter homes, garages or back yards to gather any floods.
Anyone who needs a pickup truck can call the Logan County Emergency Situations Office of 304-792-0192.
