Add West Virginia to the growing list of countries that make moves to prevent social game operators using lottery awards – usually called “lottery casinos” – from doing business within their borders.
A casino knowledge source reports this week that the western Virginia General Prosecutor JB Mccuskey is preparing to summon or send letters to terminate and destine to encounter operators who have access to customers in the state.
Mccuskey did not confirm the information, but in a statement sent to Casino Reports on Wednesday morning, he firmly implied that his thinking was aligned with the office’s intention.
“We have serious concerns about the users of Western Virginia, in particular our children aimed at illegal gambling operations,” Makkusky said.
