Webb City hosts Glendale Friday for Homecoming – Webb City Sentinel

Web City Basketball Basketball will entertain Glendale for Homecoming Friday at Cardinal Dome.

The team returns home after taking second place at the Frontenac tournament on Saturday and 70-51 road loss on Tuesday at Springfield Central, which has the second best record in Class 5 District 6 Behind Carl Junction.

Web City will host the county boys tournament while Willard will host the county tournament for girls. Both tournaments will start on March 5th.

The Cardinals began the Frontenac tournament on Thursday with a 89-52 victory over the host. On Friday, they beat Nevada 68-36. They fell into Putnam City, Okla., 58-48 in the championship game.

A new game has been added to the graph. At 5:00 pm, the Cardinals will play Fair Grove at Mission University in Springfield.

Next week, the 9-7 cardinals will be on Kickapoo on Tuesday and in the Republic on Friday. They will return again on Tuesday, February 11 against Carthage.

During the last home game, as Tim Warmman reported, “Holton Keith collected 31 points at night, but the most significant was a tidy at the beginning of the third quarter, which pushed his career with a total of over 1000 points.”
