Birmingham City star Mark Leonard has made it clear that just because Newcastle United is a Premier League country, Blues does not intend to stop their good shape.

Currently, Eddie How’s Newcastle is trying to secure the Champions League football next season through the Premier League and are also in the two Cup competitions.

They are ready to face Arsenal tonight at St. James Park in the second match of their semi -finals at Efl Cup, which already have a two goal.

How’s country will face promotion contenders in League 1 Birmingham City in St. Andrew this weekend at the FA Cup.

Birmingham shines, winning his last three games consistently.

Blues midfielder Leonard has made it clear that he is looking forward to confronting Newcastle, but wants his country to keep his brilliant running from continuing.

“We feel really good and obviously we’re on a great run right now”Leonard told Blues Media when he was asked about the Newcastle game over the weekend.

“We do not intend to stop because we play in opposition a few leagues above, so I would look forward to it.”

Birmingham is currently sitting at the top of the table in League 1 and will seek to cause a disorder against the Giants in the Premier League at home.
