The life cycle of salmon is a multi-year process that involves multiple stages, the first of which is the fertilization of the eggs.
The Kanaka Environmental Education Partnership Society (KEEPS) is offering the public a chance to see the beginning stages of life for the thousands of fish that are born each year at the Kanaka River Watershed Management Center.
At the Nov. 3 open house event, KEEPS will invite attendees to witness this monumental moment for all salmon eggs at the Bell-Irving Hatchery.
The event is free to attend and will be held from 11am to 2pm at the Kanaka River Watershed Management Center (11484 256 St.) on Sunday, November 3rd.
