Washburn Mete Rogers State in two -senum for senior day at Lee Arena – Wibw

Topeka, Kan. (Wibw) – Both Washburn Basketball Squads posted big victories over Rogers State on Saturday at Lee Arena, honoring their adults the right way for the senior day.

Men No. 4 dominated Hillcats 90-60, classifying the Miaa 2024-25 championship. This is the championship of the 11th Conference in the History of the Program.

This is the first time the program has just acquired the title since 2004.

Jacob Hanna led “Bods with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists. Andrew Or, and Michael Keigan added 14 and 13 points, respect.

Senior Jake Shadeg received his first career start and went perfectly 2-2 out of three.

Ichabods are already 24-2 in the season, 15-2 in Miaa Play.

The women’s team started the two-headed 64-52 win over Hillcats.

Payton Sterk led iChabods in 24 points. Freshman Brooke Gomez added eight points, 11 rebounds and five assists.

Women are already 16-11 during the season, 10-7 in Miaa Play.

Ichabods have no more home matches this season and will close it with two road games. First, they will head to Pete State for a two -headed one on Wednesday night. Then they will take Missouri south next Saturday afternoon.

The MIAA tournament in the Kansas City municipal audience begins on March 5th.
