For those who love books and remain active, the pedestrian book is found once a month in the Vietnam Veterans Park, next to the Laredo Public Library. This is the perfect way to combine the love of reading with a healthy habit, according to organizers.

Lisa Lisa Ariaga emphasizes how this club helps participants to remain mentally and physically engaged. While the first meeting has already passed, more walks are planned in the evening to take advantage of the cool temperatures.

✍ The 22nd Annual Laredo Poetry Festival

The poets of all ages are invited to present their work for the 22nd Annual Poetry Festival. This year the theme is “dreams and aspirations” and the applications are open until Friday, February 7th. The verses can be presented online or personally at the Joe A. Guera library.
