Winston-Salem, nc- Update (20:25): According to Duke Energy University, it has completed its work and power has been restored to the affected campus regions.

Wake Forest University is engaged in interruption of campus power supply on Monday.

The university has issued a wake -up alert, telling students that their key cards put them in their residence halls will not be functional until the interruption is removed.

Duke Energy is in place, according to the university, working to determine how long power will be. Currently, the assessment is midnight.
