Volunteers join forces to clean the Fremont Square Park in the center of a hundred – Yahoo

Nearly three dozen volunteers have abandoned part of their weekends to participate in the cleaning and beauty of Fremont Square Park in the center of a hundred.

The efforts were part of the Centre City initiative in partnership with Clerans’s Clean California. The volunteers removed the waste, planted new trees and painted in the park while Kaltrans provided the materials.

The next event is scheduled for March 15 at Long Park, 4535 Woodchase Lane, one of several planned this year, according to the city.
