St. Paul, Min. – The snow on your sidewalk – you have to go! Those who live in Minneapolis and St. Paul have 24 hours to do it after a snowstorm, but if you need help, it is available thanks to a group called “Saintly City Snow Angel”.

They have been a volunteer group over the last 4 years, so the sidewalks have been cleaned after snowfall in St. Paul for homeowners who cannot do it themselves.

“In St. Paul you can get a fine if you have not created, so we really just wanted to enter and meet the needs of our neighbors and create this kind of community feeling,” said Seneca Kruger, who is an Angel volunteer, since the group is formed.

Kruger finds joy in this annual winter responsibility. After the snowstorm on Saturday, she helped release the sidewalk and the wheelchair ramp of a neighbor near her own house.

“It just appears in front of your neighbors. If you only have 15 extra minutes, it’s really beautiful to make it, “Krueger said.

Currently, this group is struggling to respond to the search for people in need.

“Some of us will create 6 or 7 houses this weekend to try to meet the need, so it would be really great if we had more people voluntary work,” KraeGer said.
