Virginia’s Court of Appeal Disposes a pair of sentences for the owner of Myrtle Beach Safari – WMBF

Myrtle Beach, SC (WMBF) – The Virginia Court has recently discarded a couple of sentences from 2023 aimed at the owner of Myrtle Beach Safari DoC Antle.

In an opinion published on February 4, the Virginia Court of Appeal ruled that Antley’s two accusations of conspiracy to buy endangered species could be released.

The court, however, confirmed its other two allegations in the country – which were for conspiracy for the sale of endangered species.

The documents declare the defense of Antley, claiming that the decision to condemn it on the prosecution of purchase is due to a misunderstanding of Staute’s Virginia Staute – with which the court eventually agreed.

Antley avoided the prison in the Virginia case in 2023 after being found guilty of involvement in the traffic of endangered lion cubes. Antley was eventually sentenced to probation, a $ 10,000 fine and was forbidden to work, own, buy, sell or trade exotic animals for five years.

Later that year, Antley pleaded guilty to federal allegations of violating the Lace and Conspiracy Act for money laundering regarding his relationship with Myrtle Beach Safari.

Date of sentence on federal fees has not been determined.
