Richmond – Virginia’s Chamber of Commerce has recently announced the appointment of Cathie J. Vick as president and CEO (CEO) after a national search.

Water Supply and Sewerage will take its position on April 1, inheriting Barry Duvall, who has been the leader of the Virginia House since 2010, the announcement said. The Board of Directors has appointed Duvall as senior water and sewerage adviser and the council for the rest of 2025.

Water Supply and Sewerage has a bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, both in communications and political sciences from James Madison University; a doctor of juris, with honors from the Law College of the State University in Georgia; and Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with honors from William & Mary Raymond A. Mason School of Business, according to the Virginia Chamber.
