Virginia Beach Restaurant Week Extended to February 2nd – 13newsnow.com WVEC

Restaurant Week was supposed to end on Sunday, January 26, but the snowstorm forced it to be extended.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Virginia Beach Restaurant Association is extending Restaurant Week after a snowstorm earlier this week caused diners’ plans to change, they announced Friday.

“We understand that the snowstorm affected everyone’s ability to come out and enjoy the specials and meals that make Restaurant Week so exciting,” said Martha Davenport, executive director of the association. “By extending the event, we hope to provide an opportunity for everyone to experience the incredible food and hospitality that our participating restaurants have to offer.”

Restaurant Week started on January 20th and will now run until February 2nd instead of January 26th.

Restaurants and hotels can choose to opt in to the extension or not. On January 27, an updated list of restaurants offering deals will be available on dineinvb.com.

“We are grateful to our local restaurants for their enthusiasm and flexibility in expanding this beloved event,” said Davenport. “It’s a testament to the resilience and community spirit of our city.”
