Vikings Border Team from Top Ten in the Power Rank at the end of the season-Sports Illustrated

After finishing with a record of 14-3 but collided with a whimper playoffs in the Wild Card circle, the Vikings seem to be considered a team of the above ten, which is heading for the extra-season.

Shortly after the Super Bowl was completed on Sunday, several retail outlets missed their power charts at the end of the season. They are slightly different from the usual weekly charts we covered throughout the season. Depending on the output, these power ranks are usually either a summary of the place where the teams ended the campaign in 2024, or “too early” watching next year.

Let’s dive where the Vikings came out …

At NFL.com, Eric Edholm has selected the Summary Route and has the Vikings as team # 7 in its power ranking, the highest place they set in the charts collected. Minnesota finished three spots behind the lions, but one place in front of Packers.

The Vikings are No. 8 in the Athletic ranking, where Josh Kendall also selected the Summary Route. The Lions came four spots in front of Minnesota here, until Green Bay once again finished a place in Minnesota.

The world leader has chosen the “very early” route and here begins to drop the Vikings. It seems that the uncertainty about the QB situation and the many holes in the defense have those who have gone on this route, slightly question how the Vikings will look like in 2025.

Detroit ended in the top three, while Packers came to three places above Minnesota, heading for the 2025 season.

Fox Sports David Helman was another “very ran of power”, completely missing the Vikings from the top ten. While questions about who will play QB for Minnesota next season, it seems that Helman notes that “the defender’s uncertainty may not matter if Kevin O’Connell is your chief trainer.” Helman credits the Vikings with a “fantastic” list that probably spared them from an even more big decline.

Frank Schwab of Yahoo rounds the list of his “Way-Too-Ry” looks forward, listing the Vikings as a team # 12 in NFL, aimed at 2025. Swab has both Lions (No. 5) (No. 7) before The Vikings.
