Chesapeake, Washington – a community held a vigil on Friday to honor the life lost in the tragedy on Thursday in the village of Chesapike. Three children were shot dead and killed by 34-year-old Kimone King-Roborson before turning his gun on himself, police said.

King-Roberson was the mother of the 14-year-old canoeing, who attended India River High School, and 5-year-old twins Ermani and Ermias, who went to an elementary of Thurgood Marshall. Community members said they were completely devastated by the tragedy on Thursday.

The vigil took place on Friday night, where many neighbors and relatives gathered outside the home, where the deadly incident happened to give their respect. The organizers say that the peaceful community of the village has gathered to remember and mourn the three children and their mother.

The neighbors offered prayers and comfort to the immediate family and friends of the victims who were appreciated by close relatives.
