999 Pho has reopened at its new location near Winco after closing its original Reno location at Grove Street and Kietzke Lane a month ago.
Hot noodles replaced tacos at a south Reno restaurant after 999 Pho officially opened its new location.
New restaurant 999 Pho Vietnamese Cuisine reopened Wednesday just over a month after closing its previous location in late September at the corner of Kietzke Lane and Grove Street.
The new 999 Pho location is located at 9780 S. Virginia St. near WinCo Foods. The restaurant signed a 10-year lease for the space, according to Logic Commercial Real Estate. The commercial premises were originally built in 2012.
The space was previously occupied by the Rusty Taco casual shop chain, whose modern industrial vibe can still be seen in the space. The space was previously occupied by Nu Yalk Pizza, which sold the space for $2.4 million in 2022, according to Washoe County records.
At 4,159 square feet, the new 999 Pho location is larger than the Vietnamese restaurant’s previous location, which filled up quickly during the busy lunch hour. The new location also has a more professional look, with staff now wearing bright green shirts as their uniforms.
Despite the change, 999 Pho still offers the same familiar menu items to its customers. Food choices include spring rolls, spicy chicken wings, banh mi, lemongrass roast beef, and of course, pho noodles. The restaurant also offers an assortment of drinks that include smoothies and beans.
The new 999 Pho restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 8:30 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 7:30 pm. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. For the store’s menu, visit the official 999 Pho website.
