The Washoe County medical examiner has identified the man killed in a shooting last week in Reno.
The medical examiner says 22-year-old Joshua Kent was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center on Thursday, October 17th, where he eventually died from his injuries on Saturday, October 19th.
According to the medical examiner, the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head, the manner of death was homicide.
Authorities believe Mr. Kent was homeless.
The Reno Police Department is handling the investigation into this case.
UPDATE – OCTOBER 22: Police seek driver in connection with fatal shooting in Pickett Park
Police are searching for a driver who may have witnessed a deadly shooting at Pickett Park in Reno last week.
Officers are looking for a 2003-2005 Honda Accord with sunroof, tinted windows and 5 spoke wheels.
Police said they found an unidentified man with a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
The suspect has not been located since the shooting, which happened around 7 p.m. Thursday.

Reno police are investigating a shooting near Pickett Park.
An RPD spokesperson confirmed that one person was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Police say this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
There is no information on a suspect in the incident.
