Vermont Broadcast Assoc. Radio Group gets new property – WCAX

Lyndonville, VT. (WCAX) – Vermont Broadcast’s Radiate Radio Group sees some new property.

Bruce James, owner of VBA, sells his seven radio stations in the Northeast Kingdom and parts of New Hampshire.

Senator Russell Ingles has already taken over the leading radio broadcasting and media production company. He says he moves forward, he wants to focus on more local news in the community, not so much on the national platform.

Ingles says he has taken advertising and real estate and this is something new to him.

“I always meant the community. I’ve always made a lot of radio. You know, this is an opportunity. I don’t know how a person like me can get bored, but I’m bored. We see this as a challenge, “said Senator Russell Ingles, R-Issex/Orleans County.

Ingalls says James helps the transition in the next few weeks and the employees will have a stake in the company.
