Vegas Golden Knights reveal VGK High School Hockey League – nhl.com

Vegas (February 11, 2025) -Vegas’s golden knights announced today, February 11, the creation of the Vegas Hockey Hockey League (VGKHSHL), the First League in the Las Vegas Valley, which will allow the players in the high school to present areas in which they live.

The Joint League will consist of players in the years of birth 2008 to 2011, organized in eight geographical teams. Although not officially linked to high schools at that time, each team will represent areas that feed in many schools. VGKHSHL expects to appoint teams from the following areas:

  • Centennary/North Las Vegas
  • Summerlin
  • Summerlin South
  • Spring Valley/Durango
  • Enterprise/Hanthem
  • Paradise/green valley
  • North Henderson/Black Mountain
  • Southeastern Handerson/Foot

Each area will include a major and insignificant capacity -based team with selection bearings held in March at City National Arena or America First Center. The season will continue from April to July and will be made up of 15 games and five team practices. The spring and summer season will allow players from both traveling teams and home leagues to participate.

“It was a long -standing goal of our organization to enable high school athletes to present the areas in which they live,” said Senior Vice President of Hockey Programs and Operations for a facility Darren ElliottS “We are excited about this step and we hope that it is developing as the hockey in the valley continues to grow.”

The registration is already open to this connection and will close on March 3. Players will have to be members of the US hockey.
