Vegas (February 22, 2025) – On Friday, February 21st, Vegas Golden Knights, Donna Street Chitalishte and National Non -Profit Purpose Kaboom! They built a new playground in Centennial Park apartments in North Las Vegas.

More than 100 volunteers – including eight Golden Knight players – took part in the construction, which turned an empty yard into an expansive play space, including numerous swings, slides, platforms and a climbing wall. The convening only took five hours, ending before graphics around 1:30 pm PT. A donation from the Vegas Golden Knitars Foundation finances the playground.

The playground is aimed at children aged 5 to 12 years. Kaboom! There is a world where there are safe and incredible places to play for every child in America so that children can grow happy and healthy.

Community members led the creation of the playground from the design to the installation. In December, children and members of the Community shared drawings on their Dream Playspaces with organizers of projects of an event organized by Community Center Donna Street. These ideas were integrated into the new design of the playground.

This project is a progress in ensuring that every child has a place to play, providing the most up-to-date playground for hundreds of children to enjoy every year.

Vegas Golden Knights’ support for the project coincides with the holiday of the team of the month of black history. Robert StraderCommunity Center Donna Street founder will twist the siren game on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena, as the golden knights celebrate the black history of history.
