Valentine’s volunteers requested at the Glendale Center – newspaper

On Valentine’s Day, volunteers can spread love at Glendale Center.

Love is at the Air and Valley Non -Profit Foundation for Senior Life makes sure that some of the most vulnerable members of the community feel special and celebrated.

Valentine’s event is from 10-11: 30 h. Friday, February 14, at the Adult Health Center Foundation at Adult Day, 16209 N. 67th Ave; Glendale.

The Health Center for Adults works with adults who have physical, cognitive or the development of disabilities or medical conditions.

On the day of Valentine’s Day, dozens of AARP volunteers will help create a festive atmosphere and distribute 100 customers’ roses and their care.

But on Valentine’s Day, more volunteer opportunities are available and every week.

Volunteer groups can lead customer activities, including bingo, arts and crafts and karaoke, are some popular, but many other options are available.

The Center offers a daily program for exercise, community outings, social and therapeutic entertainment activities, social services, restoration therapy, personalized care plans, nurses supervision and assistance in daily activities, including nutrition and snacks.
