Meteorologist Ashley Renee has your forecast for 8:15 in the morning. Good morning to all and Happy Valentine’s Day! We did it by the end of another week. As I mentioned last week, temperatures would go up and down all week. After the Cold Front moved on Wednesday night, a cooler and drough air went behind him. Yesterday morning, the bigger Baton Rouge area was 15 degrees more cool than Wednesday morning. The morning low low were mainly in the 40s. We are a few degrees more cool this morning than yesterday. Current temperatures are in the upper 30 to the low 40s. We were able to see more sun and a more clear sky late yesterday afternoon. We will have a little sun for the love day, but this morning the cloud cover is increasing. The sky should be mostly cloudy by the end of the morning or the lunch time. The high will be in the mid -60s. Isolated showers will pass through our area this afternoon and evening. The warmer air and moisture in the Persian Gulf will quickly return to our area between tonight and Saturday morning. Saturday morning will be much more warm with the morning low in the 60s. The maximum will be nearly 80 degrees on Saturday. The next stronger cold front will move between Saturday and Sunday. The scattered showers and T-Buri will move on Saturday and Saturday night. Part of the southeastern part (including the Grand Baton Ruzhi Batt) is already emphasized for a slight risk and increased risk of heavy weather. Initially, I could see isolated showers passing in the morning. Now it seems that we may not get our first drop of rain until later afternoon or evening. But to be on a safe side, I would still take an umbrella with me in the morning. Especially if you know you’ll go out all day tomorrow. Several isolated showers are possible on Saturday morning, but the greater part of the rain will move until Saturday night and continue overnight on Sunday morning. Strong to heavy thunderstorms, gusts of winds and isolated tornado will be possible on Saturday night. The rain, the T-Buriers and the Cold Front will be removed shortly after midnight on Sunday morning. Sunday will be more cool with maximums in the mid -50s to low 60s. It will also be windy as the northern winds will be about 10-15 mph. The clouds will clear between the morning and the afternoon, which will allow more sun to enter. Sky will become mostly sunny by the afternoon. The sky will still be mostly clear on Sunday night, and at night the low levels will be in the middle of the 30s. Make sure you and your children are ready for your winter before leaving home for work and school. Monday will be nice with the sun and tall in the mid -50s to the low 60s. Tuesday will be partially cloudy with peaks near the mid -60s. Several showers are possible on Tuesday and scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday. Thanks for watching. Have a nice Friday and a wonderful weekend!
