Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – for Laredo ISD, Friday and Monday will be regular school days for students, teachers and employees. As Valentine’s Day approaches, LISD has set some guidance on gift deliveries.
Deliveries will only be accepted between 8am and 11 in the morning and the singing telegrams will not be allowed. The gifts should be reasonable in size, without destruction and include information about florists or companies. Home foods are not allowed and only purchased from stores will be accepted. In addition, at the end of the day, balloon arrangements should be harvested to avoid activating security alarms.
Meanwhile, Harmony School of Excellence also has specific rules. Delivery of balloons, flowers or Valentine’s Day are not allowed, and students are asked not to carry gifts, including stuffed animals, flowers or desserts.
All subjects brought to school will be confiscated to prevent interruptions in the school day.
