VA cuts include Amarillo System employees – KCBD

Lubbock, Texas (KCBD) – Some workers in the veterans care system who control the clinic in Lubbock and others in the region are already out of work.

The veterans department has rejected what it considers to be a “small number” test staff in the Amaril Health System, which manages clinics in Childress, Clovis, Dalhart and Lubbock.

The department does not specify whether this includes anyone in Lubbock. In addition, he did not provide information on how many people were released.

Amarillo VA’s health system has rejected a small number of test staff. This solution will not have a negative effect on veteran health care, benefits or other services and will allow VA to focus more effectively on its main mission to serve veterans, families, care and survivors. We cannot discuss specific staff issues because of confidential concerns.

VA stated that the shooting will not have a negative impact on health care, benefits or other services.

Amarillo’s healthcare system monitors and funds the Lubbock clinic until it records more veterans in benefits.
