Utah’s jazz is without Colin Sexton’s services because of the ankle spiller before the All-Star break and now it seems that the guard will remain out of the action for the near future.
According to the team, Sexton resumed the court’s activities, but will be reassessed early next week to return.
Sexton has missed the last seven jazz matches and will probably miss their next two competitions against Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers. However, after these two shows, he could have had a chance to approach.
When he is healthy, Sexton remains a strong component of the jazz composition, an average of 18.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists at 47.8% shooting from the pitch to gather behind Lori Markana and John Collins as the third presenter Utah goal scorer on the list.
While Sexton stayed out of the basket, we saw Jordan Clarkson starting his opening place as a leading two -chae on Utah, but the rear jazz was largely detained by the rookie Isaiah Kolier, one of the best participants in Utah from late. During the absence of Sexton, the first year guard was an average of 12.6 points and 10.3 assists with 48.0% shooting from the pitch.
It will be out of the mixture this weekend, but keep track of the sexton status in the coming days, with a return to the floor likely to come earlier than later.
