In the last 35 years, Alan Jackson has gained some serious confessions.

He is one of the best-selling rural artists of all time, with 50 top 10 singles and 26 Billboard No. 1 hits. He has won awards from the industry, including a pair of Grammy.

But beyond numbers, Jackson has developed a reputation of one of the best songwriters in Neotraditional Country. While others headed for pop and even hip-hop, the Country Music’s famous music hall remained true to its roots.

After the release of his album 2021. Where did you goJackson said he was still almost the same person who moved in our years earlier.

“I still eat beans and corn bread,” he said. “Dust with my cars and I like to go out and watch the sunset.”

And it still likes real country music.

“Real country songs are life, love and heartache, drinking and mom and have fun well,” he said, noting that traditional instruments also matter.

“Steel and acoustic guitar, the script, these things have sound and tone … This is also a country.”
