WILMINGTON, DEL — The Wilmington Police Department’s Unsolved Case Unit is appealing to the public for assistance in solving the 2019 homicide case of Kenyatta Manuel. On the evening of September 16, 2019, at approximately 6:54 p.m., officers responded to reports of shooting in the 1000 block of North Van Buren Street. Upon arrival, they found 21-year-old Keniota Manuel, who had been shot. Unfortunately, Manuel died from his injuries.
Despite ongoing investigations, the case remains unsolved, prompting the cold case unit to appeal to the community for any information that could help solve this crime. Authorities encourage anyone with details related to this investigation or any other unsolved cases to come forward.
