A speeding Lamborghini driver who couldn’t prove he was insured begged police to let him go – because it was his wedding day, police said. But no-nonsense officials said they didn’t have any confetti on hand, so they “threw six points” at the groom-to-be instead.
Greater Manchester Police said they received four reports of a green supercar allegedly speeding in Bury. Officers then stopped the luxury car and said the driver “could not prove that he had valid insurance.”
The police later seized the expensive vehicle. Investigations are ongoing.

When pulled over, the driver could not show valid insurance but asked to be let off as it was his wedding day. @gmptraffic didn’t have any confetti on hand so we improvised and threw 6 points at the impounded car instead.”
