Unified School District of San Bernardino welcomes guest directors during the annual event – San Bernardino County Sun

The United School San Bernardino school has recently held its annual principal for a day -to -day event, in which people from different areas took the role of a school principal to see first -hand about the education management.

During the event held in November, the members of the Community were coupled with directors in the school district in San Bernardino and participated in activities, including visits to the classroom, meetings of staff and school tours.

The headmaster for one day, intended to strengthen the connection between the school neighborhood and the community, enabled participants to engage with students, employees and administrators while learning about the challenges and triumphs of school leading.

“The director for one day is an excellent opportunity for community members to live everything they need to lead our schools and to support the success of the students,” says Mauricio Arelano, chief of the University Quarter in San Bernardino, in a message. “This is a powerful way to bring our schools and community closer and we are grateful for the enthusiasm and commitment of all participants.”

One of the participants was Paula Garganera, a local business account manager who serves as a guest director at Indian Springs high school.

“I was amazed at the dedication and energy that the principals and teachers carry in their schools every day,” Garnera says in a news message. “This experience gave me a new understanding of the complexity of school management and I am proud to be part of it.”

Other participants were the former broad receiver of NFL and a graduate of the San Bernardino High School Mark Say, who serves as a director for the day at Del Vallejo High School.
